This August, the Vintage Mobile Cinema will be making its debut appearance at the Edinburgh Festival.
Words can’t say just how excited we are to be coming to the greatest festival in the world. We will be based on George Street (Near the Assembly Rooms).
During the day we will be showing ‘Free Fringe’ Short Films (15-25 minutes) that will include a brief pictorial history lesson about the Cinema.
Every evening, we will have two innovative shows…
8.15pm THE REEL COMEDY CLUB (75 minutes)
Enjoy a showcase of top comedians in this unique 1967 vintage mobile cinema. Just 22 seats means this late night show will be one of the hottest ticket in town.
10.00pm THE COMEDIANS FILM CLUB (120 minutes approx)
Our favourite comedians present their favourite films. Every night, a different comedian will give a presentation about their favourite film and its importance to them. The film will then be shown in full.
Working with our friends from the Tringe, we guarantee a fantastic array of great comedic talend and fantastic films. Full listings will be on this website closer to August.

OTHER PROJECTS
We’re very proud here at the Vintage Mobile Cinema to have undertaken quite a few large scale projects and collaborations over the years, each one bringing a fresh and exciting challenge to the day to day business of running our beautiful cinema. From television work, cultural heritage exhibitions, arts festivals, all the way to corporate promotions, we’ve used the cinema to generate interest, excitement and most importantly, positive engagement with the film/presentation content.
